SIS, WHERE'S MY CAR?
(2023)
A 30-min theatrical tour as part of Singapore Heritage Week, audiences were taken through the Peranakan Museum by two sisters, Rachel and Judy, feuding over who gets to keep their late grandmother’s car. Audiences played kueh-based trivia and even got to design their own Peranakan-inspired wedding dress, as they reminisced with the sisters who eventually reconciled.
MURDER MYSTERY: A NOVEL HOMICIDE (2023)
A Fever Original, Strawberries Inc was the creative partner behind this experience. Guests were asked with solving the murder of the family patriarch, Mr Markandu, who was just about to release his new murder mystery novel. With an average audience rating of 4.9/5 stars, we can attest they had a bloody good time!
RACHEL & THE REMPAH RUNAWAYS (2023)
As part of Arts Walk 2023, this fun dinner theatre experience at the Peranakan Inn saw guests enjoy themselves with delicious Peranakan food as Rachel hosts a dinner party in honour of her late grandmother. But things go awry when a Chilli and Garlic show up to crash the party, regaling audiences with a song, a rap battle, and a food quiz!
THE BIG MOOD
(2022)
As part of NAC’s “It begins With Tap” audio walking tour that provided the framework for the NAC Arts Plan 2.0, Strawberries Inc put up a sketch entitled The Big Mood at National Design Centre that was focused around The Creative economy. It comprised of thought provoking conversations, audience participation and even a rap performance.
SHIPWRECKED - A VOYAGE THROUGH TIME (2022)
Taking place in the Asian Civilisation Museum, our travellers met a 9th-century sailor wandering through the halls of the galleries. Through song, storytelling and games, he recounted his sailing adventures from sea monsters to romantic endeavours for this family friendly experience!
OOMPAH LIMPEH'S MADHOUSE OF TRIVIA (2022)
A theatrical, interactive, trivia adventure. Hosted on Zoom, players travelled through Oompah’s different dimensions and worked together as a team or against each other in a problem solving extravaganza!
THE SECRET LIFE OF HAW PAR VILLA (2022)
An interactive, walking tour-performance that took place in Singapore’s oldest theme park! We joined the Tiger Balm King on an after-hours private tour, visiting the refurbished 10 Courts of Hell, meeting the park’s iconic characters, and playing games centered around topics of morality.
THINGS I WISH YOU KNEW
(2021)
A short film devised by 28 of the most high-performing young rhythmic gymnasts from the academy as they share their passions and fears surrounding competitive rhythmic gymnastics. A heartfelt celebration of friendship, passion and commitment by these incredible women of tomorrow.
VAMPIRE TRAMPOLINE PARK (2021)
Venom the Vampire had taken over Amped Trampoline Park! Guests were tasked to complete 6 spooky tasks manned by Venom's gang of ghouls. From the evil surgeons maze to the witches’ potion lair, Amped was transformed by the team in this interactive Halloween event.
CHANGI RECOMMENDS: CHINATOWN TOURS (2019)
Guests joined Changi Recommends on an immersive tour around Chinatown that was interspersed with pop-up theatre performances! We conceptualised, scripted and directed unique performances, tailored to the cultural heritage of Chinatown.
SINGAPORE BIENNALE: THE GREAT GILLMAN HUNT (2019)
In line with the Biennale's theme: "Every Step in the Right Direction", we designed an interactive scavenger hunt that incorporated many of the artworks at Gillman Barracks. Guests had to solve clues and complete challenges whilemeeting whimsical characters along the way to complete this amazing race.
PPURPOSE: HOTEL CLANIFORNICATION (2019)
Straits Clan Members partied the Halloween away with Celebrities from the Dead. Our very own Freddie Mercury and Michael Jackson wowed the crowd all night long with epic dance and lip sync battles.
CHIMICHANGA: DINNER THEATRE (2019)
The Shaman of Sarawak hosted a 4-course dinner as he shared tales of the dark with his guests. Co-ordinated and scripted by us, the Shaman read the guests, uncovering startling details about their past. He called onto the spirit of a guest's dead relative, but this summoning ended in a horrifying twist.
THE MAD HATTER WEDDING (2019)
With a narrative inspired by the Mad Hatter, written and executed in accordance to the wants of the bride and groom, this interactive theatre show entertained over 200 friendsand family, at a beautiful wedding on Tamarind Hill.
ASIAN FILM ARCHIVE: FEAR OF MONSTERS TOUR (2019)
Our talent pool of actors used their storytelling prowess to conduct 46 tours for over 500 guests. Our team of guides impressed the audience with charisma and frank conversation, earning an average review of 4.5/5 stars.
SINGAPORE COCKTAIL FESTIVAL (2018)
A Fashion Critic Godmother, a Tarot Reading Gypsy, a Bad-ass Red Riding Hood and a Drunk Cupid were let loose at the festival, interacting with over 800 guests as they shared their stories and entertained the crowd.
